The BEAM-4 Phantom, commonly referred to as the BEAM 4, is an air-to-air missile developed by Cartadanian defense manufacturer, Angelico, for beyond-visual-range missile operations. It has a diameter of 22 cm and employs an active transmit-receive radar guidance system that uses a two-way data link based on Link 22 for all-weather, day-and-night operations. The missile is equipped with GPS-enhanced inertial measurement units that enable it to expand its no-escape envelope, thereby increasing its lethality. Additionally, it is designed with high-angle off-bore sight angling that enhances its precision during engagements. The missile is highly maneuverable, with the ability to engage targets via a fire-and-forget approach. It can be launched from a range of platforms, including fighter aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles. The BEAM 4's advanced guidance system provides situational awareness and target acquisition capabilities, enabling it to engage a diverse range of targets, including fast-moving aircraft and drones.

The BEAM 4 is able to connect with Cartadania's GAIA and GAIA Web for increased precision and awareness. It has been deployed on F-26 Black Widow and F-35 Relâmpago platforms for testing, with plans to primarily integrate it with GAIA-equipped systems, but a non-GAIA variant is also in testing for export use. Nonetheless, it has proven very effective in all tests and scenarios. While the BEAM 4 has shown great effectiveness in air-to-air roles, its development beyond this role has been limited as of 2030. However, it has also been considered for multi-platform roles, demonstrating its versatility and potential for future use.
