A 1911 geological survey conducted by Captain Saddam Ópvius of the Army Corps of Engineers concluded that Xýzyro is composed primarily of rock.

Xýzyro was first summited in 1935 AD by M. Arğor Tirośoven.
The future Sultana [[Arabella IX]] of [[Zaclaria]] completed a successful solo ascent of Xýzyro prior to her ascension to the throne, one of only four recorded solo ascents by a woman to date.
After an avalanche on [[Élív]] 21208 killed 22 members of an international expedition, the Federal Park Service imposed an indefinite moratorium on new climbing permits.
