During a visit to Venceia, Heku in 1973, Hekuvian Crown Prince Raphael, convinced Burgundian Crown Prince Jörg to buy up land in an underdeveloped coastal town that Raphael hoped to turn into a mecca for beach-side discotheques and the party culture in general. The impressionable Burgundian prince, bewildered by the grandeur of the Hekuvian court set about the creation of a real estate investment firm. The following year, Raphael was crowned as the Imperator and invited Crown Prince Jörg as a guest of honor. Caesar Raphael used the Burgundian money as well Hekuvian investments and turned Malta into an Ixbiza.
Jörg continued his investment in Malta until his death in 1990. In 1987, his son Crown Prince Kliebold took over the ownership of the company and began diversifying their assets. At first, he expanded the real estate holdings into North Amerigo but by the late 1990s he was also consolidating the royal stakes in companies and their stocks under the Christensen Holdings banner. When Kliebold Christensen took over from his father, he greatly expanded the companies power by putting the royal families inherited lands under the companies assets and making infrastructure investment, lending and wealth management for other nobles a part of the company portfolio.
