The Neoteric Confederation of Diamavya, (formerly the Grand Authoritarian Republic of Diamavya) most commonly known as Diamavya is a sovereign country in Northern Levantia. It shares land borders with the Mortropiv Union to the east and Yytuskia-Helvana to the southwest. It also shares a maritime border with the Burgoignac overseas territory of Wintergen. To the northwest of Diamavya is the Kilikas Sea and to the west the Odoneru Ocean.
Diamavya is a unitary republic with the current chancellor being Camron Accomendor and the vice-chancellor being Violet Veníra. They represent the Las Acronitas Revolutionaries (LAR) and have been in power since 2033 after the NCPC lost a vote of no confidence and a flash election was triggered. Previously Craig and Chris Adelrick were chancellor and vice chancellor respectively and represented the National Conservative Party of Diamavya (NCPD). They were in power since 2015 after winning the 2015, 2020, 2025, and 2030 Diamavyan Federal Elections, and lost in the 2033 flash election. Speculation still remains about whether elections the NCPC won were legitimate, yet, the NCPC never gave a response.
Since the end of the Pohrank Revolution Diamavya has had an executive power which overseas all legislative, judicial, and executive decisions made by the government in power. Diamavya has always been in favour of having an executive in power as it held the nation united against the separatist Pohrank republic and helped Diamavya win against Pohrank in a time of fear and radicality. The executive, while, for the most part, never has to exercise their power, has full ability to do so with no constraint from the government in power or the constitution. His Grand Excellency Alexander Chapayev has abided by the GOP and constitution since coming into power in 2018. Alexander Chapayev was born in 1987 and inherited power from his father Victor Chapayev at age 31 after he died in 2018 of a fatal heart attack. When Alexander Chapeyev passed away in 2036 of heart problems, Amelia Al-Ahzmira became the new Executive of Diamavya. She became the first foreign-born Executive, the first female Executive, and the youngest Executive to ever hold office.

Name and Etymology
The name Diamavya comes from the Diamavyan idiom "Azt dihmarz mavs yanier өtur ihnem" or in English "To love one's home above all". The first Burgoignac explorers named the land Diamavya after hearing this phrase and working with the natives to actually understand what it meant. This moment is an important part of Diamavyan history, as, despite the present communication barriers and extreme cultural differences, the explorers and natives worked collaboratively to understand one another in this foreign land. It shows how the explorers were able to love their new home, and how the natives were so willing to let foreigners enter their traditional lands. Though this is more of a folk tale rather than an accurate historical account, it's still worth noting that there was no immediate conflict between the explorers and the natives.
Diamavya's climate is incredibly diverse and continues to be an outlier on Levantia as such. Diamavya primarily consists of a subarctic climate and this is very noticable when travelling further inland in the regions of Noroeste and Suderavia. In the winter temperatures in the subarctic parts of Diamavya can decline as low as an average of -20.3°C while only reaching 17.4°C on average in the summer. On the opposite end of the spectrum however, Diamavya features prominent semiarid climates as well, most notably in the large Cítxorita Badlands of Magnavina. In these areas the temperatures remain warmer during the winter and have sustained greater population as such, though the vast open landscapes have always made wind chill an issue for the local populace. Temperatures on average range from -11.7°C in the winter to 20.5°C in the summer. Diamavya's humid continental climate however boasts most of Diamavya's population, notably in the northern Khovihnihk plains that have historically been the center of Diamavyan and even Ultmaran civilisation at large. As the three humid continental areas are spread out across three different regions of Diamavya and have significantly contrasting topography as opposed to the previous climates, the temperature of each humid continental climate varies greatly. In the humid continental climates of Gabben and Suderavia the weather tends to be fairly warm all year round, with temperatures on average being around -4.3°C while in the summer about 23.8°C. However, in the north Magnavian humid continental climate temperatures are notably colder at an average of -8.7°C in the winter and 21.1°C in the summer. Though those are Diamvya's largest three climates, the country also features a Mediterranean climate in Pohrank, a humid subtropical climate on the Pohrankraj peninsula, a marine west coast climate in west coast Gabben and southwest coast Noroeste, highland climates surrounding Diamavya's prominent mountain ranges, and a small desert climate mostly encompassing southern Trilaciema. The country also has a small tundra and ice cap climate in its Boreal territory of Nyihjdihn.
Regions of Diamavya
Continental Diamavya is split up into five distinct regions, while in total there are seven regions per the inclusion of Lekronzatihl zaTaz Kronetihrs (previously known as Taz Ekrontiahnz) and Taz Өzihzhun. These regions are defined by a variety of cultural, environmental, geographic, and historical factors, among others. These regions don't serve any administrative purposes and are only used by the government or additional statistics on the national census. The primary use of the regions of Diamavya is to allow the citizens of each region a broader entity to associate with outside of their province or territory. This is best exemplified in Pohrank where the citizens of the provinces largely identify with their region rather than their province due to an extensive shared history. This isn't universal however, and the people of the provinces of the regions of Gabben and Noroeste in particular usually identify for more with their province than their region.
In red is the region of Pohrank. The Pohrank region is primarily defined by the cultural differences between the people of Pohrank and the rest of the Diamavyan populace. As early as the fall of Great Levantia, the vast majority of the Pohranken tribes unified under a single banner and a single name. The tribal confederacy is most commonly referred to as the Siahr Vand after the warrior Zendru Vandyndhur. She was not the strongest warrior by any means, which stood out in one of the most brutal tribes of Diamavya, but she created a philosophy that would pioneer the tribe to become magnitudes stronger than all than all the other tribes in Pohrank. Though still known as Zendrism in Diamavyan, the philosophy would come to be known as pragmatic pacifism internationally.
Much of her tribe was doubtful of her philosophy, but with the neighbouring Kolnik tribe seemingly preparing for another war, they were willing to trust her idea. Zendru marched to the Kolnik border alongside her tribes strongest warriors should conflict arise. She met with the Kolnik chief and told him that another war would leave both tribes vulnerable to attack from the north, who could use such as war to attack the weak victor. After agreeing on this, she convinced the Kolnik chief that despite their differences, peace was a far better option than yet another war over territory they would be better off sharing. Despite the differences these tribes had, the chief couldn't deny the strength the tribes would have if they united. Out of respect for Zendru's ability to cooperate with his tribe, the Kolnik united with Zendru's tribe and become the Siahr Vand. The union would go on to use Zendru's philosophy with tribes that were willing to cooperate, but the Kolnik chief would not hesitate to use violence with more brutal tribes. Come the year 502 AD with the collapse of Great Levantia, Siahr Vand had become one of, and debatably the biggest union on the Levantine continent.
Though the eventual colonial takeover of Diamavya by the Lacronitine Empire would lead to the end of Siahr Vand, its legacy along with Zendrism would continue to be used as a symbol of Pohranken unity, and would again be used to encourage Pohranken citizens to join the Pohrank Revolution in 1937.
The Lacronitine Empire was merciless with its expansion in Pohrank. Though the Siahr Vand put up a strong fight, the Lacronitine Empire was far more advanced in its military strategy and technology. By the year 1025 the Siahr Vand was pushed into the outskirts of eastern Pohrank along the modern day Diamav-Mortropiv border, where the Lacronitine Empire struggled to expand. The Siahr Vand didn't thrive by any means, but they were able to survive through the First Gabbenian War, and to this day the descendents of the Siahr Vand remain in the northern Mortropiv Union.
Throughout the coming centuries Pohrank would be transformed from the marsh tribal confederacy into the agricultural heartland of the Magnavyan Empire. The populace was virtually unrecognizable from the former tribal occupants of Pohrank. Throughout this period the region of Pohrank was part of the larger Suderav-Pohranken Condominium. The living conditions in the Suderav-Pohranken Condominium were extremely poor and disease spread throughout Pohrank like wildfire throughout the 1500's. The pestilence in the region became so bad that it would be transmitted through the agricultural exports, and led to not only a crisis in the Magnavyan Empire, but a plague breaking out to countries importing Pohranken goods. Throughout the world Pohrank came to be known as "Burgundie's Rotten Core", and it became an embarrassment to Burgundie. To this day the impact of this era can still be seen in Pohrank in the provintses of Guljahnѧ and Upklava, where the once booming population harvested most of the food Burgoignac Thalassocracies. The west of Guljahnѧ and east of Upklava are now sparsely populated, the infrastructure everywhere is in pieces, and the land has reverted back to vast marsh with deep lakes of mud.
In yellow is the region of Magnavina.
In light green is the region of Gabben.
In dark green is the region of Suderavia. The region of Suderavia is largely defined by its Coscivian heritage and influence from both its own geography and the nations that border it like the Mortropiv Union or the nearby country of Kuhlfros. Alongside the nations that border Suderavia, Kiravia has also had a major and the most significant effect on the culture of Suderavia. The name Suderavia is derived from multiple languages. The Burgoignesc word for south (being "sud"). The English letter "e" being used "e" makes the "ah" sound in Diamavyan and this sound was interpreted to mean "and" (despite the Diamavyan word for "and" being "taz"). Lastly, the "ravia" is derived from the ending of Kiravia, the English name for the country of the same name. Despite the name being a combination of words from different languages interpreted with a varying level of accuracy, the name is still known to roughly translate to "South of Kiravia" in English. This name having an origin from various different languages is another example of the diversity of Diamavya during the early days of Burgoignesc, Kiravian, and Lacronitine exploration in the country.
Geographically, Suderavia is very mountainous and has a vast system of rivers, valleys, lakes, and mountains that span the region. Though the region is now ideal for many interested in winter sports, buying a cottage/vacation home, the mining business, and ecotourism, it was historically viewed as largely inhospitable land that limited colonial expansion. The only groups that really stayed in Suderavia were the Coscivian people since the land was better than some of the harsher land in northern Kiravia. As the Coscivian people developed the land and became more integrated with the Diamavyan locals they found success in logging and mining operations that took advantage of the riches of the Suderavian region up until the end of the Second Gabbenian War. As the Kingdom of Magnian united more and more of the land they turned their eyes towards the undisturbed region of Suderavia. Up until the end of the Second Gabbenian War the people of Suderavia had been relatively undisturbed despite the Kingdom of Magnia claiming the entirety of the region. Magnia worked to exercise its sovereignty in Suderavia when it was laying the groundworks for the Magnavyan Empire. While the Great Lake Genocide was going on the people of Suderavia were persecuted by the Magnian authorities that controlled the region. The Coscivian people in particular were persecuted as the locals held most of the control over the infrastructure and natural resources of the region. A minority of the Coscivian people fled Suderavia back to Kiravia and other countries like the Kuhlfros, Mortropiv Union (though the Mortropiv Union would soon be annexed by Magnia too), and Pauldustllah, while the majority of Suderavian people remained in their homeland in hopes of retaining control over everything they had built, which helped them secure power within the Magnavyan Empire as the Suderav-Pohrank Condominium.

Government and Politics
Since the end of the Great War in 1953, the Diamavyan government has had what is known as an executive. The executive has absolute power over all of Diamavya and is even able to edit some parts of the constitution, based on whether the constitutional amendment is listed as "Өtur taz Tikront" or "Above the Executive" in the constitution. Even amendments that are Өtur taz Tikront can be changed, but this can only be done if the Office of the Executive or the Executive themself tries to pass the amendment through the difficult constitutional amendment process of Diamavya.
The executive almost exclusively abides by Diamavyan law, despite legally not being required to. The executives have almost always respected the decisions of the Diamavyan government, though notably, Alexander Chapayev pursued many projects outside of the Diamavyan government's jurisdiction. Most eminently, Alexander Chapayev along with the executive ministers worked to claim an island near Kistan in 2032 that they dubbed "Alpha Boreal". This island now hosts one of the country's largest military bases and research facilities, and also has prominent correctional facility for high profile criminals. The island is also important for strategic reasons and hosts a few small towns, the biggest of them being Alveraco with around 7,000 inhabitants. This was able to happen in such a streamlined fashion due to it being executed solely under the jurisdiction of the executive, and this is often used by the government to streamline important infrastructure projects.
The first two executives were from the Chapayev family, as Victor Chapayev was chosen to be chancellor after his heroic service in the Great War. Victor Chapayev had also come from a long line of respected government officials and diplomats, and is rumoured to be related to a number of important Diamavyan historical figures like Bergendii explorer Christoff the First. This trend was meant to continue, as the mantle of the executive is passed down to the eldest most closely related relative that is younger than the executive, but when Alexander Chapayev passed away, his son declined the role. This meant that no immediate family of Alexander was eligible.
Alexander's nieces and nephews were then considered, but only one of them knew any English, and the others knew no English or Diamavyan. Amelia Al-Ahzmira, the grand daughter of Alexander Chapeyev's older sister, Palihnae Chapeyev. She is fluent in Arabic, English, and is learning to become fluent in Diamavyan as she intended on going to university in Diamavya before being approached by the Office of the Executive. She is the first foreign-born (born in Asrabad, Umardwal and raised in Diathadun, Yanuban) and first female executive of Diamavya, and is the youngest person to hold a job in the Diamavyan government.
Diamavya as a nation is very ideologically diverse, and thus since the end of the Great War a multiplicity of parties have been able to continue to thrive in Diamavya, even outside of the main five that have traditionally held power in Diamavya. While political diversity is omnipresent throughout Diamavya however, this also means that the nation is one of the most polarized, and now one party has been able to hold onto power extensively unless considering the unfair elections of 2025 and 2030 that had only been discovered to have been weighed in the favour of the National Conservative Party of Diamavya in 2034 (though many still suspected such prior to the official conclusion).
Diamavya is led by five major parties. Though there are dozens of other minor parties, the major ones are as follows:
- The Diamavyan Unity Party (DUP) (Left Leaning Centrist Anti-Authoritarian party)
- The Las Acronitas Revoltutionaries (LAR) (Militarist, Expansionist, Libertarian party)
- The National Conservative Party of Diamavya (NCPD) (Conservative, Nationalist, Authoritarian party)
- The Traditional Conservative Party of Diamavya (TCPD) (Conservative, Traditionalist, Authoritarian, Catholic, Theocratic party)
- The Pohrank Freedom Party (PFP) (Pohrank Independence and Communist party)
There's also a variety of minority parties, such as:
- The Executive's Militia (or Taz Tikronts Zmonkria) (TTZ) (Totalitarian, Third-Way, Executive-Supremacy party)
- The Free Love Alliance (or Taz Nejla Dihmarz Ihnemyihn) (NDI) (Left-Wing, Progressive, Feminist, Environmentalist, LGBTQ+ Rights party)
- The Magnavyan Right Party (or Taz Megnavyihn Nihzet Vekre) (MRP) (Alt-Lite, Paleoconservative party)
- The Magnivinic Anti-establishment Party (or Taz Megnihvihnihk Nyԓ-Ihzteblihmes Verke) (MAP) (Anarcho-Capitalist party)
Current Major Party Leaders
Ѧngihle Ijhцrkbi, leader of the Traditional Conservative Party of Diamavya.
Byihjgimin Kԓoayorne, leader of the National Conservative Party of Diamavya.
Eliora Yekhiea, leader of the Diamavyan Unity Party.
Ԓihxɛ Yiakoau, leader of the Pohrank Freedom Party.
Violet Veníra, current Deputy Chancellor of Diamavya and leader of the Las Acronitas Revolutionary party.
As Diamavya uses a single transferable vote system when electing new heads of government there is a vast multitude of parties that vie for power in the country's elections. Prior to the Great War Diamavya used a first-past-the-post voting system but this allowed the Grand Collective Will of the United Southern Working Class to take power by gaining the unanimous vote of the large Pohrank population. Though the communist party was barely able to take power, it had a slim majority over the Orthodoxy and Diamavyan Unity parties. This was clear not representative, so Palihnae Slavyihn worked with political think tanks like Andrick Chapeyev and Iayu Ѧtƨolѧv to develop a more representative and secure Diamavya. Now newly founded parties are able to win elections if they can really gain the support of the Diamavyan people. As a result, Diamavyan politics have become extremely diverse ideologically, but Diamavyan participation and engagement in politics is some of the highest in the world.

The foreign relations of Diamavya are Diamavya's relations with governments and organizations throughout Greater Ixnay. As a growing global power, the status of Diamavya's formal and informal relations are important and necessary to follow. While Diamavya pursues positive relations with most nations around the world it is known to pull its own weight when diplomacy is strained as well. Regardless of the status of relations, Diamavya continues to maintain an active role in international politics and is to this day a strong influencer of the global community.
The government's foreign policy directly affects the way Diamavyan companies and organizations behave with foreign entities due to the influence it is able to exert. Many foreign policy laws in require Diamavyan organizations to "act in the countries best interest" which is taken very seriously. Ramifications for acting outside of the countries interests are unknown, but many previously large industries have been wiped off the face of the country for allegedly committing treason or attempting to undermine the countries democracy.
The Department of Diplomacy has stated that its goal is "to share the prosperity of the Neoteric Confederation across the globe". Alongside this comment, the Executive Sovereignty Authority stated "If Diamavya cannot maintain the ability to protect its citizens across the globe, it has no right to govern them at home. This government will always remain diligent to the struggles our people face throughout Ixnay and will preserve their security regardless of the expense."
The Diamavyan economy is highly diversified leading primarily in the industries of arms manufacturing, oil & gas refining, coal, precious metal, and uranium mining. Other large industries include logging, retail, sea and air travel, and banking.
Unemployment is extremely low at 3.5%, the lowest it has been in Diamavya's history despite the Diamavyan Golden Age prompted the biggest period of economic growth in the country's history. Though this unemployment rate is unfortunately expected to skyrocket with the countries population growth rate in 2037 being about 1.13%
GDP growth is also experiencing a strong increase with the GDP growth rate climbing from 0.5472% in 2035 to 0.6803% in 2034. For reference, the total GDP was $14,620,000,000 in 2032, $14,700,000,000 in 2033, and $14,800,000,000 in 2034.
Sports have been ingrained in Diamavyan culture since the Lacronitine explorers and Bergendii Corsairs first settled Diamavya. Though they brought along many sports with them, the sports that gained the most tractions were ice hockey and football.
The Diamavyan language has always been criticized for many of its unorthodox grammatical rules and structures. It continues to be one of the hardest languages to learn in all of Ixnay, yet it maintains an important role as one of the League of Nations preferred languages. Alongside this, there is an ongoing debate on the status of the language as an isolate or a mixed language. Diamavyan shares many similarities to Mortrovinic and some with Burgoignesc including a multitude of digraphs shared by both languages. On the other hand, much of the grammatical structure of the language is not seen anywhere else in the world, and historians and linguistic experts alike haven't been able to find any examples of Diamavyan being an artificial language.
