English: Proposal for the Flag of South Africa, 1965, the "Verwoerd Flag"

I used the Springbok from File:Air_Force_Ensign_of_South_Africa_(1958–1967,_1970–1981).svg and also used File:King's Commendation (South Africa).png as a model for the protea.

According to [1] this flag was designed by HC Blatt, assistant secretary in the Department of the Prime Minister in 1965, and was already approved by Prime Minister Henrik Verwoerd at the time of his assasination in 1966.
