Français : Le 26 août 1785 , M. Blanchard fit son quatorzième voyage aérien a Lille; il était accompagné du chevalier de Lépinard, amateur intrépide qui partagea ses dangers et son triomphe. Cinq jours après leur départ, ces deux aéronautes firent leur rentrée à Lille au bruit de l'artillerie et des fanfares. Deux tableaux de Louis Watteau et deux belles gravures d'Helman ont conservé ces faits qui eurent alors un retentissement considérable.
