Wehrmann Wilhelm Leisner an der Ostfront, item 65
Description
Deutsch: Die Objekte sind auf dem Dachboden nach dem Tod der Tochter von Wilhelm Leisen (Großvater mütterlicherseits) gefunden worden. Leisen ist am 22.11.1884 an der luxemburgischen Grenze in Irl geboren worden und absolvierte eine Ausbildung als Tischler und Geigenbauer in Köln. Er starb am 04.05.1926.

Leisner war an der Ostfront im Einsatz, u.a. in Mlawa (Polen) und Beresina (heute Bjaresina, Weißrussland). Er war Wehrmann in der 2. Kompanie des 99. Landwehr-Infanterieregiments. Die Feldpost schrieb er an seine Frau und die Kinder.

Wegen des frühen Todes sind kaum weitere Informationen bekannt.
