Deutsch: Der historische Bundesversammlungssaal im nördlichen Flügel des Parlamentsgebäudes in Wien.
Ursprünglich war es der Sitzungssaal des Abgeordnetenhauses (erste Sitzung am 4. Dezember 1883), der für über 500 Abgeordnete Platz bot. Aktuell wird der Saal normalerweise nur für die Sitzungen der Bundesversammlung (National- und Bundesrat) anlässlich der Angelobung des Bundespräsidenten und für andere Staatsakte, bei denen beide Kammern des Parlaments anwesend sind, genutzt. Das Parlament wurde als Reichsratsgebäude für das Abgeordneten- und Herrenhaus nach Plänen des Architekten Theophil von Hansen ab 1874 errichtet. Die ersten Plenarsitzungen von Abgeordnetenhaus und Herrenhaus im neuen Reichsratsgebäude fanden neun Jahre später am 4. Dezember 1883 statt. Ab 2017 wurde das Gebäude mit rd. 55.000 Quadratmeter Nettogeschoßfläche um rd. 420 Millionen Euro generalsaniert und im Jänner 2023 wiedereröffnet: [1].
