NBS Urrne was a containership chartered by the New Borean Shipping United. (Informally known as the New Borean Shipping Company)

On November the 13th of 2003 along the coast nearing its destination of Rolvsvik (Rename Rolvik?) the NBS Urrne was caught by severe weather. Due to a series of mistakes and failures, both in properly fastening the containers as well as correctly labelling the contents, a large section of containers on the bowside collapsed off the ship. The instability caused by this collapse would cause the Urrne to develope a dangerous list over the course of the next hour. The crew would declare distress and abandon ship while just within sight of Rolvsvik. In the end thoug the ship would end up capsizing, sinking to rest just beneath the surface of the somewhat shallow waters. A few of the tallest points just barely remaing above water.

Salvaging operations would begin immedietly, especially since the shipwreck would pose a threat to many ship entering the Rolvsvik Harbour. A refloating effort was suggested but rejected to save on costs.

An investigation into the events leading up to the disaster would start almost immediately. Within days litigation started against both the crew of the Urrne and the NBS organization. Although the crew was originally gonna fall under the Union of Justicekeeping the case was quickly moved to the Highcourts. A year and a day after the disaster, November 14th of 2004, the Unity Highcourt of Vithinja passed down a final judgement on the legal responsibilities surrounding the shipwreck. NBS was heavily Sanctioned, the ships crew recieved a black mark on their records and the organisations leadership was ordered to reorganize or be disposed.

Salvaging operations would continue for the next 18 months, where the ship was taken apart. Controversially the decision was made to focus on getting done with the wreck, leading to large sections of the hull simply being broken up and left on the seafloor rather than properly cleaning up. The declaration that the salvage operation would be ending was met with protests from the Greens who used this failure together with many others in th span of 1999 and 2007 to catapult their political faction into the mainstream.
