The Vice President of Cartadania (Cartadanian: Vice-Presidente de Cartadania; VPDC) is the second-highest executive officer in the country, after the President of Cartadania. The vice president is also an officer in the legislative branch, as the president of the Senate. In this capacity, the vice president is empowered to preside over Senate deliberations at any time, but may not vote except to cast a tie-breaking vote. The vice president is indirectly elected together with the president to a four-year term of office by the people of Cartadania.

Article Two of the Constitution vests the executive power of Cartadania in the president and vice president and charges them with the execution of federal law. The vice president is further empowered to serve as a key presidential advisor, governing partner, and representative of the president. They may carry out duties related to the implementation and enforcement of laws, and the vice president tends to oversee the intelligence and justice agencies of the federal government. In the same manner, though, the vice-president's role in congress has decreased in recent years, especially without a true need for tie-breaking seeing as though the SDP holds a supermajority.

The vice president is indirectly elected by the people through the Electorate to a four-year term, and is one of only two nationally elected federal officers, the other being the President. In all, fifty-six individuals have served fifty-six vice presidencies spanning 78 full four-year terms. On 8 January 2025, Adriana Floriadi became the 56th and current vice-president, and the first Progressista candidate to become vice president since the Rosa Administration of 1956.
