Usage

Creates a familiar notation for party/state affiliations of U.S. congressional representatives in the form of ([Party initial]-[state]) with appropriate linkage to relevant articles

Examples:

• {{rep|R|Texas}} becomes: (R-Texas)
• {{rep|D|Illinois}} becomes: (D-Illinois)
• {{rep|I|Vermont}} becomes: (I-Vermont)
• {{rep|D|NJ}} becomes: (D-NJ)
• {{rep|R|ID}} becomes: (R-ID) (N.B. in this case the template avoids the use of the ID redirect.)
