The Urcean Armed Forces are under the administration of the [[Ministry for the Armed Services (Urcea)|Ministry for the Armed Services]], whose Minister also serves as Lord Marshal. The Lord Marshal is nominated from among the officer corps of the Armed Forces, traditionally of [[Ranks_in_the_Urcean_Armed_Forces#Field.2C_Flag_and_Staff_Officers|Flag Officer]] rank, by the [[Procurator]] and approved by the [[Concilium Daoni]].

The military chain of command flows from the [[Apostolic King of Urcea]] to the [[Procurator]], ensuring civilian control of the military. Within the [[Ministry for the Armed Services (Urcea)|Ministry for the Armed Services]] is the Office for the Army, Office for the Navy, and Office for the Air Force, civilian led entities that oversee the coequal military service branches organized within and provide for their upkeep.
