Siegmar d'Everard was born in [[Sainte-Catherine]] on 31 May, 1997, to Louen d'Everard and his wife Wilhelmine (née Kurtz). He is descended from the [[House of d'Everard]], being a nephew of the current house head [[Rachet d'Everard (judge)|Rachet d'Everard]]. He was privately educated and joined the [[Yonderian Defence Force]] in Spring 2016, aged 18. An avid recreational shooter, d'Everard was singled out for his marksmanship and trained as a designated marksman with the [[Ducal Life Guard Division]]. d'Everard was selected for the training programme for [[DELTA]] in the Autumn of 2017 and completed his training by Spring 2018.
