'''Yonderrail''' is the collective name for a collective of private railway companies and the state-run Department of Railways of [[Yonderre]] that controls the track, signalling, tunnels, bridges, level crossings and all but a handful of the stations of the Yonderian railway system. Originally formed in 1886 by the Yonderian state as a centralization effort of the regional railway services in the [[Counties of Yonderre]], Yonderrail saw considerable restructuring in the late 1980s when major intercity lines began a process of open market privatization. Today, the vast majority of the most travelled lines are run by private companies under the Yonderrail banner, whilst the state-operated Department of Railways maintains the more rural lines.

Yonderrail is the collective name for a collective of private railway companies and the state-run Department of Railways of Yonderre that controls the track, signalling, tunnels, bridges, level crossings and all but a handful of the stations of the Yonderian railway system. Originally formed in 1886 by the Yonderian state as a centralization effort of the regional railway services in the Counties of Yonderre, Yonderrail saw considerable restructuring in the late 1980s when major intercity lines began a process of open market privatization. Today, the vast majority of the most travelled lines are run by private companies under the Yonderrail banner, whilst the state-operated Department of Railways maintains the more rural lines.

Yonderrail manages transportation of passengers and goods internally in Yonderre and with neighbouring countries. The metro systems of Yonderian metropoles are operated by the Department of Railways independently of Yonderrail.
