Rolvsvik, also referred to as Rolvik by many locals, is the 8th most populous city and capital of Vithinja and the seat of the Monarch in Vithinja. Although the parliament and Royal Commodatum are both located in the capital, a significant portion of the national administration including the Higher court are located in the largest city of Vithinja, Tår Bringär. This is a result of the capital flipping back and forth stretching as far back as the formation of the Borean Republic in the early 1800s.

Since the crowning of the first Ruthan king Rolvsvik has been an important cultural center for the Ruthi people. This symbolic value was strengthened further with the formation of the Church of Rolv, which has since the 1500s been headquartered in Rolvsvik.
