Parameters

This template is designed for use on main articles, i.e., Toronto International Film Festival, and specific years, i.e., 2007 Toronto International Film Festival, as well as retrospectives and programmes. The following fields should be filled with notable information when appropriate:

  • name: the full common name of the festival
  • founded: year of the first festival
  • logo: the official logo
  • image: any other relevant image, for example, the official poster
  • caption: an image caption if appropriate, which should describe the type of image
  • opening: the title of the film that opened the festival
  • closing: the title of the film that closed the festival
  • location: the city and country where the festival is held
  • awardsreceived: awards won by the festival †
  • awards: awards given by the festival or programme (e.g. Sundance awards) †
  • films: titles films screened in the case of a small festival †
  • directors: directors of films screened if used for a retrospective †
  • producers: producers of films screened if used for a retrospective †
  • writers: writers of films screened if used for a retrospective †
  • starring: actors in films screened if used for a retrospective †
  • host: the organization running the festival
  • number: number of films screened in the festival or programme
