Template:Infobox movie camera
A movie camera infobox can be used to summarize information about a particular camera line in a standard manner. Generally it should make distinctions between variant models within the infobox. This makes it easier to quickly see how the models differ. (A camera line is defined as a series of camera models with a common design - in the case of the Arriflex 435 camera line, the models within the camera line are the 435 (manual), 435 ES, 435 Advanced, and 435 Xtreme. Generally speaking, the camera model name will indicate the camera line.) Many of the parameters can be omitted if desired; the choice of which parameters are appropriate for a particular camera is left to the discretion of the article editors.
Usage
The infobox should be added using the {{Infobox movie camera}}
template, as shown below:

Parameters
- cameraline – the name of the camera line being described (e.g. "Arriflex SR" or "Aaton XTR").
- image – an image for the infobox. It should be written as example.jpg, not [[Image:example.jpg]].
- image_size – defaults to 300px.
- caption – the text to be placed below the image.
- models – the camera models or variants created under this camera line. For some camera lines, there may be only one model. Third-party conversion variants should only be included if a particular one is considered highly notable or widely used. (So as to avoid wikispam, try to err on the side of caution.)
- manufacturer – the company responsible for the creation of the camera (e.g. "Mitchell" or "Panavision").
- introduced – the year the camera line was introduced. In the case of lines with multiple models, the year of each model should be listed with the model in parentheses. These should be ordered chronologically. The year of introduction may not be clear, as often prototypes or working models may be debuted to the public well before the camera is available. Generally defer to company literature if available; otherwise, the year of the first known project using the camera should be used.
- gauge – the film gauge used by the camera. The format should only be included if it prevents usage of other standard formats for the gauge. (E.g. 35 mm VistaVision cameras should include the VistaVision format as a qualifier; Super 16 cameras, however, should only list as "16 mm".)
- weight – a standard accepted weight for the camera. Should be as specific as possible regarding what parts are included or excluded.
- movement – the general details regarding the film movement block design. The negative pulldown should also be noted, especially if there are multiple options or a non-standard one.
