Cálonia County, officially the County of Cálonia, is a county in the Commonwealth of Lombardia. It is the anchor county of the Figueroa metropolitan area, situated south of the Jordas Bay. It borders Salvaterra County to the north, Zara County to the east, Arranada County to the south and southwest, and the Rio Blanco to the west and northwest, which separates it from Ellika County. With a population of 1,239,083 people as of the 2020 census, Cálonia county is the second-most populous county in Lombardia. It is largely suburban in character outside of Figueroa city proper. Its county seat is the city of Figueroa, which is also its most populous city with 570,813 residents, making it the third-largest city in Lombardia.

Cálonia County Schools is the district responsible for K-12 education in the county, educating some 105,000 students as of the 2022-2023 school year. The third-largest district in the state, Cálonia County is unique amongst Lombardia counties in that

Transportation

The Figueroa Metro Transit Authority (FMTA) is the metropolitan transit authority for the entirety of the metro region. It operates the bus and Metrorail systems within the county and is an arm of the Lombardia Association of Central County Governments (LACCG).

The FMTA also operates Figueroa International Airport, which sits in an annexed exclave of Figueroa between it and the CDP of Celeste. It is the second-busiest airport in the state after Castille International Airport, with all major airlines having flights from the airport. It offers flights to the majority of the country (territories included except Lotoa) and is known for its focus on efforts to keep carbon emissions down.

Cálonia County is served by the Capital Beltway which encircles the city of Figueroa.
