History
Prior to 1992 the Corummese media landscape was dominated by private media companies who freely competed for audiences and market share, while broadly toeing the government line on select topics. The Corummese News Network was formed by the nationalization and forced consolidation of all the assets previously owned by the Mirzak Broadcast Corporation, Zunshi Television Group, Lishi Media Group and newspapers like Voice of the Nation and the Chung Daily under Chancellor Linge Chen's Decree for the Consolidation of Public Thought.
