Katrine Kreutzmann ( née Tormey, born 9 July 1976) is a Fiannan politician who currently serves as President of the Commonwealth of Fiannria. She has served as the leader of the Commonwealth Liberal Party since 2020.

Katrine has built her career around her public service and working in the public sector and has served now for almost three decades in the public sphere. Becoming an iconic and celebrated figure especially in her home Lann of Kilbride. She was first thrust to the national scene during the economic crises of the first decade of the 2000s where she was appointed Minister of the Treasury in 2010 where her policies helped to effectively spur economic growth and stabilize the economy.

Early life

Katrine Kreutzmann was born in 1975 in the city of Rosenborg, in the Lann of Kilbride. Her father was a successful businessman who owned a small manufacturing company, while her mother was a schoolteacher. Katrine grew up in a comfortable home and received a good education, attending local schools and later studying at the University of Bridhavn, where she earned a degree in political science and economics.

After graduation, Katrine worked for a few years as a political analyst for a think tank in Bridhavn, and then as an urban developer in Rosenborg but she eventually decided to run for office herself.

Political career

She joined the Commonwealth Liberal Party and ran for a seat in the Tyn representing her Lann of Kilbride, in 2002. She won her seat and quickly established herself as a rising star in the party.

Over the next few years, Katrine worked hard to build her political career, holding various positions within the party and earning a reputation as a competent and effective lawmaker. In 2011, she was appointed as the Minister of Treasury (also referred to as the Treasurer) in the government led by the Fiann Party.

As Minister of Treasury, Katrine oversaw the management of the Commonwealth's economy during a period of global financial uncertainty. She implemented a number of policies designed to stimulate economic growth, and her efforts were largely successful, helping to create jobs and stabilize the economy.

In 2017, Katrine was appointed as Vice Chancellor during the Engel Presidency and also Minister of Economy and Commerce She served in this role for three years where she worked with other members of the cabinet to implement wage reform, infrastructure development, and promotion of alternative energy including new renewable and nuclear energy projects.

In 2029, Katrine decided to run for President of the Commonwealth. She campaigned on a platform of continued economic growth, social justice, and environmental sustainability, and her message resonated with voters nationwide. In a closely contested election, Katrine emerged as the winner, becoming the third woman to hold the office of President of the Commonwealth.

Personal life

Katrine married Bernard Kreutzmann on May 19th, 2000 and have two children together. Katrine is a practicing Catholic.
