MILCAR, an acronym for Militares Carrocerías, is a Pelaxian multinational transport vehicle manufacturing company based in Albalitor. It designs and builds light, medium, and heavy commercial vehicles, quarry/construction site vehicles, city and intercity buses, and special vehicles for applications such as firefighting, off-road missions, the military, and civil defence. The name MILCAR first appeared in 1925 by decree of General Benedicto Álvaro Camargo with the goal of developing a national heavy industry focused on the logistical and military needs of Pelaxia at the time. Its production plants are in Pelaxia, Aciria, Cartadania, Burgundie, and Metzetta, and it has about 5,000 points of sales and service in over 160 countries. The worldwide output of the company amounts to around 95,000 commercial vehicles with a turnover of about $Sl 10 billion.

Civilian Products

MILCAR is the flagship brand under MILCAR Group which the light, medium, and heavy commercial vehicles are sold. The range of light vehicles is made up of the Jornalero in its versions from 2.8 to 6 t and with 4x4 drive. The range of medium vehicles includes the SarpeCargo, available from 6.5 to 18 t and with 4x2 or 4x4 drive.Mercurial and Rastreador, from 19 to 72 t, make up the heavy vehicle range in two, three, or four-axled versions with all-wheel drive or two-wheel drive.

Large light commercial van produced since 1978. Unlike the more car-like unibody of other vans, the Jornalero uses a separate ladder frame typical of heavier commercial vehicles. The MILCAR Jornalero is produced at the MILCAR Albalitor Plant, where the company has recently made substantial investments to renew the production lines.The Jornalero is also the longest-running vehicle of the MILCAR production and in over 40 years have sold over 3 million units. Scout car developed for route reconnaissance, liaison, and internal security purposes. It was engineered in response to a perceived Pelaxian Army requirement for a light armored car capable of replacing its unarmored utility vehicles in the liaison and security role. The first Jararaca prototype appeared in 1979 and serial production commenced in 1982 after extensive operational testing in Pelaxia.
MILCAR Urutu Armored Personell Carrier
 
Amphibious armored personnel carrier. The Urutu was the first fully amphibious armored vehicle developed in Pelaxia; it can propel itself through water at speeds of 8 km/h via twin propellers.
MILCAR Gaucho Light Mobility Vehicle
 
Family of four-by-four wheeled transport and utility vehicles. Developed in the early 2000s to serve as a replacement for ageing jeeps and other vehicles in Pelaxian service, it has also been adopted by several other militaries, and is used on peacekeeping missions with the League of Nations.

The MILCAR VAMTAC was developed so that it would meet the requirements of the Pelaxian military for a multipurpose, air-portable, high mobility off-road vehicle with good payload capacity.

MILCAR Macanche Armored Personell Carrier
 
Protected Mobility Vehicle or Infantry Mobility Vehicle is a four-wheel drive armoured vehicle. The role of the Macanche is to provide protected mobility transport (or protected troop lift capability), with infantry dismounting from the vehicle before going into action. As the Macanche is lightly armoured, the term Infantry Mobility Vehicle (IMV) was initially adopted to distinguish it from a heavier wheeled or tracked armoured personnel carrier.

Tactical truck with 4x4 configuration. It is a member of MILCAR range of tactical trucks. Also there are M180 with 6x6 configuration and M190 with 8x8 configuration. This range has been specifically designed for military purposes. These are not militarized versions of commercial truck, but genuine military vehicles. It replaced in production the previous series of heavy military trucks.
MILCAR M180 Medium Tactical Truck
 
The baseline version is a cargo/troop carrier. This military truck is fitted with a standard drop side cargo body, with bows and tarpaulin cover. Also it can accept a variety of other bodies. Specialized versions are available, such as artillery tractor, dump truck, load handling system and tractor truck which hauls other wheeled vehicles.
MILCAR M190 Heavy Tactical Truck
 
Various versions of this 8x8 tactical truck are available, including general service troop/cargo carrier, load handling system, container carrier, dump truck, recovery vehicle and mobile crane. There is also M200 tank transporter. Payload capacity depends on the version. The baseline tactical high mobility version has a payload capacity of up to 17 t. Logistic versions that are not ment to be used over rought terrain can carry up to 32 t. The M190 can also tow trailers or artillery pieces with a maximum weight of 20-24 t.
MILCAR Rastreador 8x8 Heavy Tactical Truck
 
Based on the company's commercial design, which was militarized to meet specific requirements. The 8x8 has a payload capacity of 28 t. This military truck is available as a palletized loading system, dump truck, fuel tanker, trackway carrier, expandable van carrier, decontamination vehicle. Other specialized versions exist.
MILCAR M200 Tank Transporter
 
Main role of this vehicle is to tow main battle tanks, self-propelled howitzers and other heavy loads to the frontline. So a genuine military equipment transporter is better suited for this role than militarized commercial designs. The M200 is a tactical vehicle with adequate cross-country performance. It is not limited to hard surface roads. It can tow main battle tanks, such as the SAV-11, over hard surface roads and rough terrain as well.
