The Department of Justice (Cartadanian: Departamento da Justiça; DOJ) is a federal cabinet department of Cartadania that is responsible for upholding the law and ensuring justice is served throughout the nation. As an equivalent to justice or interior ministries in other countries, the Department of Justice is headed by the Cartadanian attorney general, who serves as a member of the president's Cabinet and reports directly to the president of Cartadania. Currently, the attorney general is Juliana Maciel, who took office on March 3, 2029. The department's primary objective is to maintain law and order across the nation and ensure that individuals are held accountable for any violations of the law.
