The Caphirian Aureus (sign: ₳; code: ICA) is the official currency of the Imperium of Caphiria and its territories per the Constitution since 1412. The Aureus is subdivided into 10 decima and 100 cima. The Ministry of the Treasury is the central banking system and issuing authority, responsible for setting monetary policy as well as the printing and circulation of banknotes and coins.

Though Caphiria is the only country to officially use the Aureus today, it has been the official currency of many countries throughout history. Virtually every country on Sarpedon has adopted the Aureus at some point in their history. A few modern countries still use the Aureus as de facto currency, such as Kiravia.
