Three Combat Commands Foreign Legion (8 corps) focus: expeditionary warfare Metropole Forces (3 corps) focus: homeland defense/ready reserve Global Support Command (5 corps): humanitarian aid, troops for LUDC/LoN/allied nation mission/treaty requirements, and army-wide combat support and services units (Gendarmerie and field sustainment brigades will be subordinate commands)
