Global Burgieman

Global Burgieman is a general description of the ills visited on the world by the nation of Burgundie and it's predecessor states. What it specifically means varies in every culture or society but it's generally related to the conspiracy theory the Burgundie is a global catalyst for change at even the most local levels of almost every nation.

Some of the most common woes are based around Burgundie's conduct on chattle slavery from the early 1600s through the 1830s, both the act of slavery itself and the redistribution of populations all across the globe; the propagation of the Burgoignesc Colonial Empire and the resulting displacement of native peoples; and the spread of Occidentalism at the expense of diversity in culture, art, architecture, language, market styles through Burgundie's vast trade network and resource extraction concerns.

While the Global Burgieman is linked to Burgophobia they are not the same thing. Burgophobia is more common in the Coscivian and Occidental world and points to specific woes that impact/impacted national/societal level events, whereas the Global Burgieman is just as like to be attributed to the rose in the prices of bread at a particular market stall in Rusana as it is for the entire concept of climate change.
