| A member of the Union for National Solidarity, Reed's district covered the northeastern Harzenon, the cathedral city of of Gassavelia in the Concilium Daoni. He served as the body's Majority Leader and Temporary President. Reed was the first major party leader from Gassavelia in the history of the Urcean party system, and was the first Chancellor and Temporary President from the southern region of Urcea. Coinciding with his first election as party leader of the National Social Union, Reed stood as the NSU's candidate for Procurator for the 2030 Urcean procuratorial election, but was defeated by James Fallshade. Following the 2035 Urcean political realignment, he stood as the nominee for the new Union for National Solidarity in the 2035 Urcean procuratorial election, but was defeated and finished in third place. In the same year, he lost reelection for his seat in the 2035 Urcean Concilium Daoni election. Following his defeats, King Riordan VIII appointed him Special Envoy to Cetsencalia.
