The Chamber convenes, along with the Senate, at the [[Maresia State Capitol]] in [[Auvergne]]. The Chamber is equal with the Senate, the lower chamber of the legislature, except that taxation bills must originate in the Chamber, similar to the federal Congress. Members of the Chamber of Deputies are elected every four years by the voters of the 150 representative districts on the Tuesday succeeding the first Monday in October, mirroring federal elections.
