Oyashimanes in particular were trading in spices (mainly {{wp|cinnamon}} and {{wp|cassia}}) with coastal settlements in [[Al'qarra]] using catamaran and outrigger boats and sailing with the help of the westerlies in the [[Sea of Capelan]].
