Certi Resorts was founded in 1971 by patrician Costavio Certi. Its origins trace back to the acquisition and restoration of [[Hotel Bonn]] in [[Sethsport]], [[Faneria]], which had suffered extensive damage due to the [[Bonn Hotel Bombing]] in 1956. The renovated hotel, reopened in 1975, featured state-of-the-art amenities, including an Olympic-sized swimming pool, [[Burgundie|Burgoignesc]] furnishings, and artworks from renowned artists. The success of this hotel paved the way for the company's rapid expansion across [[Levantia]] and [[Sarpedon]]. In 1994, the [[Petalstone Group]] - through its subsidiary Petalstone Certi - acquired a minority stake in the company and sought to expand its global footprint and diversify its offerings. Today, Certi Resorts is majority-owned by Petalstone Certi, which owns 60%.

Currently, Certi Resorts operates 40 hotels and 12 resorts worldwide. While initially concentrated in Levantia, the brand's properties have spread across various continents, catering primarily to the luxury segment of the hospitality market. In 1999, the company launched its luxury train services. These trains traverse scenic routes, with journeys ranging from 2 to 7 nights.
