The Army of Common Men abbreviated ACM is a defunct political party and paramilitary force that existed between 1908 and 1998 as the leading socialist organization of Daxia. The ACM was originally known as the Communist Party of Daxia until 1940 when supporters of armed insurrection took over the organization and forced a name change to reflect the change in focus away from political participation. The AMD fought in succession the Qian dynasty under Emperor Hongli, the NRF governments (with occasional truces) and the government of Linge Chen. Briefly legalized again as a political party in 1992, this was a ploy by the Bureau of State Protection to draw out its cadres into the open. The organization was hunted down over the next six years culminating in its destruction by 1998.
