Audonia-centric world map
The Audonia-centric world map is a world map which places Audonia in the middle rather than to the far east as is traditional on western maps. Such maps were common in the region prior to the west's attempt to standardise the world map however the map still sees some use locally. Sometimes seen as a political statement, the map is said to have a profound psychological impact on those who view it. Daxia uses this version of the world map as a general practice.
The map's use is encouraged and sometimes financially rewarded by ACSEC. Sometimes a slightly different projection is used which magnifies the continent of Audonia while diminishing the rest of the world; whether this is indicative of the cartographer's political views or simply to facilitate greater detail where it is most likely to be examined is up for debate.
