Agriculture
While most of Carnazza exists in a desert-like climate and terrain, it has several productive agricultural areas, located mainly in Southern T’avelli. Compared to other regions, T’avelli has a large agricultural industry which contributes to 63% of the regional GDP and 18% of the national GDP. The leading farm commodities in value are dairy, fruits(particularly strawberries and grapes), and nuts. These 3 commodities account for 24% of T’avelli’s agricultural output. However, many farms in Braselano are mass producers of vegetables and poultry. Wine is also an important resource, with there being over 400 vineyards documented in Carnazza, with 77% being grown only for winemaking. T’avellian wine has been known to be among the best in Sarpedon, and can be identified by its high alcoholic content and acidic taste.
Energy
Energy in Carnazza per capita consumption is one of the lowest in Sarpedon as a result of a policy involving long-term energy efficiency recently being introduced. Curovia is the region with the most energy resources, being Carnazza’s top producer of oil and electricity. Hydroelectricity is also one of Carnazza’s biggest resources, with 95% of the country’s plants located along the coastline. Other inputs of energy include natural gas and building energy. In 2030, Carnazza introduced 14 sustainable energy plans, with extensive focus on wind, solar, and geothermal energy.
Transportation
Carnazza’s transportation sector is one of it’s smaller one, with emphasis mainly on air transport and shipping, specifically to nearby countries in Sarpedon. However, it accounts for 26% of total energy use, mainly due to long commutes especially in Alconsara and Curovia. As of 2035, Carnazza is a leader in Sarpedon in electric vehicles, with there being multiple programs and initiatives directed towards driving the growth of electric vehicles.
