Coscivian chronology is the sub-discipline of Coscivian history concerned with the dating and ordering of events and personages relevant to the history of Coscivian civilisation. By convention, Coscivian chronology is structured into eras known as imperia or periods, which are subdivided into dynasties and reigns, which ordinarily correspond to the reigns of Coscivian emperors, whether live or sculpted. Calculating the reigns of earlier emperors and their concordance (if any) with linear dating systems is an ongoing and contentious process.
