A sports news website within the DaxNet

DaxNet (흑심) is a walled garden network or national intranet maintained by Daxia, that is, a substitute for the internet used in the rest of the world. As a bizarro version of the internet, DaxNet users can only access a limited number of websites that are maintained by the government and affiliated entities like approved news organizations. Contrary to popular belief outside Daxia, not everyone inside the country uses the DaxNet as it would have adverse effects on the economy. People who fall under certain income thresholds are deprived of access to the regular internet as are ethnic and religious minorities and visiting aliens. Originally government ministries ran DaxNet exclusively but this was dropped when it was realized that the lack of access to outside information was hobbling government work. Content and information within DaxNet is highly censored and worded to comply with government policy at all times, the color palette is limited and page design is antiquated and reminiscent of early 1990's websites. DaxNet is run by the Ministry of Information's Internet Bureau.
