Ean Thors Savaius

Ean Thors Savaius was a Farman Navy Commando who served in Farmandie Royal Navy from 1930 to 1959. In addition to his service in the Royal Navy Commandos Ean was an inventor and an experimentalist. His most notable inventions were the “name” submersible commando canoe. Ean was also experimenting in infantry weaponry designs, the most famous design being the "Pistolet-Mitrailleur Thors Savaius modèle 1932" submachinegun and the experimental "Fusil Automatique Thors Savaius modèle 1944" assault/battle rifle.

During his service Ean was actively trying to figure out and solve equipment related problems by experimenting, modifying and improving weapons and equipment used by the Royal Navy Commandos and other special operation forces.

During most of the latter half of his service he acted as part time instructor in the Navy Commando School. Among his duties as an instructor, he continued trialing, developing and experimenting with weapons, equipment and tactics to be deployed on the field.
