The Hendalarskara Social Front (Hendalarskisch: Hendalarskaras Sozialfront), also known as the HSF, is the dominant political party in Hendalarsk, having ruled almost continuously since the end of the Hendalarskara Civil War in 1925. As a big-tent dominant party, the sociologist Eszterházy András once remarked that "all that is vital in Hendalarskara politics happens inside the Social Front; the rest is window-dressing", a state of affairs which has occasionally drawn suspicion and censure from both other parties and critics abroad. The HSF is nevertheless a democratic socialist party which has seen widespread success in elections internationally recognised as free and fair.
