The Lussier-class is a class of multi-mission guided-missile frigates under development for the Cartadanian Navy as a follow-on to the modular littoral combat ship (or corvette). It is Cartadania's first class of frigates since the 1950s, a role which had previously been filled by other classes of similar size and purpose. The class is designed to be very stealth-oriented. Borrowing from technology learned with other military vessels, the reduced radar cross-section of the class originates from previous destroyer concepts which were achieved by a clean superstructure compared to conventional designs, angled sides, and radar-absorbent material, a composite material of wood and glass fiber as hard as steel, light, and resistant to fire.
