Mauricio Toledo, nicknamed 'El Tomate'(The Tomato) is a businessman and political operator who holds both Daxian and Pelaxian nationality. Born in Daxia to Pelaxian parents, he made his fortune in the steel sector before moving to Pelaxia. He got involved in local politics and twice served as a deputy of the Socialist Party. In 2014 he founded Carnitas Pelaxia to commercialize Daxian beef.
