Peratra is a region and subcontinent in the northern part of Australis. It is bound by the Polynesian Sea to the north and the Bay of Diamav to the south.

Peratra is divided into three climate regions, the temperate oceanic in the west with prevailing winds bringing moisture off of the Ocean of Cathay, the central Highlands which stops the westward movement of moisture, and the semi-arid east.
Aina Mauu Maloo
The semi-arid east is called Aina Mauu Maloo meaning the dry grasslands by the Australnesian natives.
