The Minister of defense is in charge of running the Ministry of defense, which carries out the day-to-day administration of the forces. The Prime Minister and the Minister of defense are civilians. No provision in the Constitution requires the Government to seek approval from the Parliament before sending the armed forces abroad. Since 2026, this has been expanden even further
