The Istroyan Stadium was specially constructed in Hanzeong to host the opening and closing ceremonies as well as athletics, tug-of-war and archery events. The Imperial Swimming Baths in Hanzeong were refurbished to facilitate the swimming, artistic swimming and diving events. The fencing event was held in the famous [[Emperor's Gardens]] while the basketball, rugby, indoor volleyball, soccer, handball, tennis, table tennis, badminton, field hockey and trampoline events were held nearby in the Hanzeong Municipal Sports Complex. Taekwondo was held at Karam Dojo. Both gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics events were held in facilities provided by one of the capital's universities; University of Inwae. | |||
