The occupation is currently ongoing, making it the longest multinational occupation of a country in history. The occupation's primary goals are far reaching, not only deconstructing the governing apparatus of the state and rebuilding its infrastructure but also implementing a complete cultural revolution undoing the influence of both [[Culture_of_Varshan#Slavery|slavery]] and the [[Varshani_caste_system|caste system]].
