In December 2026, lengthy discussions about the future of Varshan within the [[League of Nations]] were expedited with the announcement that [[Martin St. Clair]] would be retiring from military service on 1 April [[2027]]. After having led [[League of Nations Command]] for five years and de facto head of the allied occupation, the retirement finally allowed calls in the [[General Assembly of the League of Nations]] to dissolve League command and transition power in the Varshani occupation to a council of civilian appointees from the respective countries. The Varshan Reorganization Act passed the Assembly on 14 December and was slated to take effect on 1 April.
