Usage
This is an infobox for an article on a specific figure skating competition. The only required field is title. If no fields are defined from a section, that section header will not be displayed.
Use the reigning fields for a future competition for which there are reigning champions. Use the defending fields for a future competition for which there are defending champions. Use the champions fields for a competition that has already crowned champions.

Parameters
Parameter | Explanation |

title | Title of the competition |
image | Use Image Name.jpg, not [[Image:Image name.jpg]] |
imagesize | The size of the image. Defaults to 255px |
caption | Caption for the image. |
comptype | The type of competition, such as ISU Championship, Grand Prix, or National Championship |
startdate | The start date for the competition. Use this field also for a competition that took place over one day. |
enddate | The end date for the competition. If this field is not defined and startdate is, the template treats startdate as the only date field. |
skatingseason | The skating season during which the competition took place. |
location | The location of the competition. |
host | The host of the competition. |
venue | The venue for the competition. |
prizemoney | The total prize money for the competition. |
reignmen | The reigning champion in men's singles, if applicable. For international competitions, use {{flagicon|Name Of Country}} before the name to indicate the country represented by that skater. |
reignladies | The reigning champion in ladies singles, if applicable. For international competitions, use {{flagicon|Name Of Country}} before the name to indicate the country represented by that skater. |
reignpairs | The reigning champion in pairs, if applicable. For international competitions, use {{flagicon|Name Of Country}} before the name to indicate the country represented by that team. |
reigndance | The reigning champion in ice dance, if applicable. For international competitions, use {{flagicon|Name Of Country}} before the name to indicate the country represented by that team. |
reignsynchro | The reigning champions in synchronized skating, if applicable. For international competitions, use {{flagicon|Name Of Country}} before the name to indicate the country represented by that team. |
defendmen | The defending champion in men's singles, if applicable. For international competitions, use {{flagicon|Name Of Country}} before the name to indicate the country represented by that skater. |
defendladies | The defending champion in ladies singles, if applicable. For international competitions, use {{flagicon|Name Of Country}} before the name to indicate the country represented by that skater. |

previouscomp | The previous year's competition. For example, the previous competition for the 2007 Four Continents Championships was the 2006 Four Continents Championships. |
nextcomp | The follow year's competition. For example, the following competition for the 2007 Four Continents Championships was the 2008 Four Continents Championships. |
previousgp | The previous Grand Prix event in that season's Grand Prix series. For example, the previous Grand Prix event for the 2007 Skate Canada International was the 2007 Skate America. |
nextgp | The following Grand Prix event in that season's Grand Prix series. For example, the next Grand Prix event for the 2007 Skate America was the 2007 Skate Canada International. |
