The Gallants' munitions, consisting of both short-range ballistic and cruise missiles, require different chambering for proper deployment. In most navies, this means vertical launch cells are dedicated either to ballistic or cruise weapons or these types of weapon are class-segregated; on the Gallants, Fhainnin engineers pioneered a casing system for cruise warheads which fit the standard SRBM tubes. These munitions, which are only used on the Gallants and their successor classes, use an initial cold-launch stage after which the ballistic casing bursts away and the cruise missile initiates. The develoment of these also informed the development of the first native cold-launch SRBMs, which were first deployed on the Gallants as well.

The Gaisgeil-class submarine (Aen. Gallant) is a type of nuclear-powered ballistic and cruise missile submarine produced in the 1980s-90s by Faneria.
