The Gaisgeil (English: Gallant)-class submarine is a type of nuclear-powered ballistic and cruise missile submarine produced in the 1980s-90s by Faneria. It was constructed by Sae Breach Lahan, and was the first strategic attack and retaliation submarine fielded by Faneria. It was the only class of nuclear deterrence submarine in service with the Army Naval Service until the introduction of the Gainful class, and six of the fourteen hulls remain in service, to be stood down from nuclear duty as the Charcarodon class, a jointly produced Fhainnin-Pelaxian project, enter active duty starting in 2035.
