GDC's Military Development Department designs and builds onboard computer systems for military vehicles, including warships, armor, armored and unarmored vehicles, smart munitions, and static bases for the Fhainnin military. It has also occasionally constructed systems for the Brumalean and Prevalian militaries. the MDD was formed in 1988 as an outgrowth of the FSR Supercomputer program aimed at taking advantage of the prerequisite experience and technologies needed to create the first native supercomputers.
