Kannur is an inland state located in Central Great Kirav.
Wolf attacks are a common natural hazard in rural and periurban Kannur. During the 1970s AD, 32 people, mainly children and dwarves were killed by wolves in what was then Kannur Region under the Kiravian Union. The frequency of fatal attacks has since declined due to a combination of factors, but continues to be a major concern of rural households.
