Kannur is an inland state located in Central Great Kirav.

Wolf attacks are a common natural hazard in rural and periurban Kannur. During the 1970s AD, 32 people, mainly children and dwarves were killed by wolves in what was then Kannur Region under the Kiravian Union. The frequency of fatal attacks has since declined due to a combination of factors, but continues to be a major concern of rural households.

Points of Interest

  • Kilgariv - One of the state's principal cities.
  • Coresxrvon - Former Imperial capital, now depopulated and a site of major archæological and palæontological interest.
  • Èvglenasar - Formerly closed city and the site of past and ongoing biological warfare research.
  • Pre-Cambrian Park - A pressurised and climate-controlled jar kept in the microbiology lab at Kannur State University, housing archaea collected from a deep-sea vent in the Odoneru Ocean near Eusa. The general public is welcome to observe the resident archæa by means of an emplaced microscope on weekdays, in exchange for a small donation to the university's microbiology programme.
