General overview
This lists represents all the existing parties recognised by the Supreme Court of Rumahoki (note that these descriptions only apply to the leading factions of each party).
- The People's Democratic Party (FDP; PDP), a Velvetine socialist party, is a major party in Rumahoki, resembling the Puertegan White Flag Communist Party in ideology albeit more socially progressive and economically liberal. The party was founded before the 1994 Revolution in Xūrosar, Kiravia, by (among others) Francisco Carvalho, its current leader and one of the main opponents of the dictatorial regime as well as the current Prime Minister of Rumahoki.
- The Christian National Party (FNC; PNC; PNK) is a traditional Christian Democrat and conservative party, similar to the Kiravian KA or the Regulan CDU. Founded shortly after the 1994 revolution, it was the only party that voted against the approval of a socialist constitution in 1996. The PNC currently congregates several right-wing tendencies ranging from moderate christian democrats to neoliberals and more socially conservative elements that have opted not to join the PRD.
- The Democratic Reform Party (FRD; PRD) is a Castadillan nationalist and right-wing populist party founded by supporters of Raul Quintero's ideological beliefs before his removal from the provisional premiership. Enjoying its greatest support in states like Auxana, it is highly similar to the Regulan Conservative Party, the Cartadanian National Revival, or the Fanerian Starkist wing of the Republican Party in that it is a socially conservative and nationalist party which also opposes immigration and multiculturalism and supports economic protectionism.
- The Castadillan Citizens' Party (FCR; PCR; PSR) is a right-leaning centrist liberal and Castadillan nationalist party. It supports further federalism within the nation, but it still believes that Rumahoki is constitutionally indivisible. The party sees its greatest support in urban centres, non-Tainean farmers, and the nation's Special Economic Zones SEZs.
- The Democratic Farmers' Union (UDA) is a centre-right agrarian and green conservative party that supports Tainean interests. It was the party that founded the 20th State Movement, a movement that seeks a potential political union with the Urcean protectorate of Arona.
- The Ecological Reform Party (FRE; PRE) is a socially progressive green party that traditionally aligns itself with the nation's left-wing parties.
- Yes We Can! (ItP; SiP; LOM) is a left-wing populist party founded by renegade far-left members of the PDP. It supports turning Rumahoki into a confederation as well as separating the office of the Commander-in-Chief from the person of the Emperor and making the former directly elected by the nation's populace.
- The Delepasian Alternative (AD) is a far-right nationalist party with very little political representation. It sees itself as the heir to the Estado Social's National Renewal Party.
